Following a very successful first edition, iryo continues to reinforce its commitment to sports in general, and to this competition in particular, displaying such shared values as hard work, perseverance and sustainability. For this reason, the operator will make its innovative fleet available to the race, offering a fast, comfortable and flexible travel service to all those travelling for the event

Simone Gorini, iryo’s General Manager and CEO, and Javier Guillén, General Director of La Vuelta, signed the agreement this morning on board a special train that had been vinyl-wrapped for the occasion and that will be travelling throughout the country over the next three months.

Simone Gorini, iryo’s General Manager and CEO, said: ‘Once again, we are very proud to support Spain’s most important cycling competition, and one of the most internationally consolidated cycling races – one that promotes a passion for sports and self-improvement. The renewal of our alliance also allows us to promote trains as a means of sustainable mobility by taking cycling fans to such destinations as Seville, Cordoba or Madrid.’

Javier Guillén, General Director of Unipublic, declared that ‘sustainable transport through iryo is a key alliance for La Vuelta.’ ‘For us, it’s an honour to renew this agreement, with a company that is both responsible and modern and that will also carry the La Vuelta brand throughout the country thanks to this vinyl-wrapped train,’ he added.
